This eco-chic all-inclusive resort beckons travelers to disconnect and embrace their natural surroundings. Our recent visit revealed an oasis of luxury nestled on the white sands and clear waters of a secluded bay, with an atmosphere that feels like a luxurious, private paradise. The expansive property features 735 spacious rooms, all with balconies and ocean-views of the secluded beach and shaded with lush greenery. Minimal modern décor highlights the grounds natural surroundings, offering a haven for those seeking an immersive escape.

Guests can indulge in a personalized itinerary with on and off property experiences, along with the option of beach or pool service at one of nine pools each with a unique vibe, while unwinding with entertainment nightly.
We were fortunate to plan our visit around Halloween, as that translated into us being part of some of the hotel’s Dia de los Muertos festivities. Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead is Halloween in Mexico, originating from ancient Aztec traditions, observed from October 31st to November 2nd. Contrary to its name, Día de los Muertos is not a somber occasion but rather, a joyous and life-affirming holiday that embraces the circle of life and death. Part of the traditions surrounding the holiday, you’ll find altars erected in honor of the spirits, as well as tons of visual symbolism, such as marigold flowers or sugar skulls — both we’d find tastefully weaved around the hotel’s decor in celebration.
One of the highlights of the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya is its massive array of delectable dining options. With thirteen restaurants and bars, guests can literally embark on a culinary journey that ranges from fine dining experiences to casual poolside snacks. While you may sometimes equate quality over quantity to a resort of this magnitude, that truly was not the case at this property. Quality was certainly not overlooked. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are treated as unique moments to savor, complemented by unlimited drinks and cocktails that can be enjoyed against the backdrop of the mesmerizing blue waters. My favorite dining experience was at Mexican fine-dining restaurant, where we got to experience their Dia De Los Muertos feast, including a menu of ash crusted tuna, a festive cheese fondue, and even edible chocolate candles for an over-the-top dessert presentation.
The resort's diverse and lively programming options ensure that every moment is filled with excitement. From group yoga sessions to fitness and wellness activities, there's always something to engage in. Daily cultural activities add a touch of local flair to the experience, creating memories that extend beyond the ordinary beach vacation. There was even a Prince impersonator that made me believe we were truly dancing in the purple rain.

Not to mention some of the most delicious food I’ve ever savored at an all-inclusive resort. The resort delivers an experience that transcends the ordinary, creating memories that linger long after the journey ends. I truly can’t wait to return and explore parts of the property that I wasn’t even able to reach this time around!
